A ten-month creative programme at the National Portrait Gallery for 16-21-year-olds, with a £600 bursary, hands-on work with gallery teams and a co-hosted Youth Late event.
NPG LAB offered a group of 50 young people the chance to work with the gallery team, plan and promote events, create resources and respond creatively to the collection. Participants take on specialist event roles, attend a Creative Futures careers event and graduate into the NPG LOOP creative community. Half of the places are reserved for young people who identify as disabled, neurodiverse, working-class, care-experienced, young carers and/or part of the global majority.
