Kakao's free residential AI camp for teenagers at schools outside the Seoul capital region: 100 students spend 3 nights and 4 days at the Kakao AI Campus in Yongin defining real problems and building working physical-AI solutions with mentors.
Kakao AI Rookie Camp is Kakao's ESG education programme to narrow regional gaps in AI education. Students learn how AI works, discover and define problems around them, and build data-driven AI solutions with teammates, Kakao staff and technical mentors. The 3rd cohort adds more team time before the camp, extra physical-AI kits and stronger mentoring; a 'Rookie Teachers' panel of serving teachers helps judge projects, and a Rookie community continues after the camp.
