Goa Merit Based Award for ST Students (SSC and HSSC board results, 2026-27)

A cash award from the Government of Goa for Scheduled Tribe students who did well in the Goa SSC (Class 10) or HSSC (Class 12) board exams, with Rs 20,000 for the first five rank holders. Applications are open until 15 November 2026.

The first five ST rank holders of SSC and of HSSC (separately for Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational) are felicitated at a public function and receive Rs 20,000, with no income limit. Other ST students with family income below Rs 5 lakh receive Rs 6,000 (50-59.99%), Rs 9,600 (60-69.99%), Rs 12,000 (70-74.99%) or Rs 18,000 (75% and above) of their SSC or HSSC marks.
