Scholarship for Chungbuk students who placed in the top three at a national-level arts, science, sports or vocational-skills competition: 700,000 won for middle-school and 1 million won for high-school students.
Awards from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026 counted in 2026. Recognised results: top 3 at national competitions run by government, public bodies or recognised associations (not hagwon, for-profit or religious organisers); Asian/world championships top 8; team sports top 8 with one student nominated by the school; and gold/silver/bronze at the National Skills Competition or gold at the farming-students festival/commerce contest. An expert panel scores results by competition level. About 100 students in total (primary to university). Only one Chungbuk Institute scholarship per year (first-half recipients cannot apply in the second half), and it cannot be combined with Chungbuk city/county scholarships.
