Brunei's Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers the BDGS to foreign students, and HEC advertised it to Pakistani students for Diploma, Undergraduate and Master's study in Brunei. Undergraduate applicants must not exceed age 25 on the first day of July of the start year.
The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship covers study at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UNISSA, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, KUPU SB and Politeknik Brunei. It is intended mainly for international students studying for the first time in Brunei. Applicants need English at GCE O Level Credit 6, IGCSE grade C, IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 550, and may be interviewed or tested by the institutions. HEC says it is only advertising the scheme.
