BITS Pilani gives merit and merit-cum-need tuition waivers of 10% to 100% to about 25% of its First Degree students, and a full four-year tuition scholarship to the top 500 BITSAT rankers with family income up to Rs 20 lakh. The page describes the BITSAT-2026 cycle.
Top 500 BITSAT rankers with annual family income up to Rs 20 lakh get a full tuition scholarship for four years, subject to a minimum CGPA of 7.5. In addition, every year about 25% of First Degree students get semester tuition waivers of 10-100%: under merit awards, the top 2% get 100% and the next 1% get 50%; under merit-cum-need awards, the top 5% get 100%, the next 2% get 50%, the next 5% get 25% and the next 10% get 10%. Awards are for one semester at a time and depend on performance and need.
