A one-week in-person summer program at UPEI introducing 30 high school students in Grades 10-12 to artificial intelligence in health care.

Students learn the fundamentals of AI and machine learning, write basic Python code for simple ML tasks, apply the steps of building an ML model, analyze real-world AI applications in health care and reflect on career pathways, ending with group project presentations to UPEI faculty. Coding experience is not required.
