A free, two-year Niigata University program for high school students that moves from open taster lectures (Entry Course) to selective lecture series (Master Course) and supervised lab research with an optional study trip to the Indian Institute of Science (Doctor Course).
Run by Niigata University's Faculty of Science with Niigata University of Pharmacy and Medical and Life Sciences and Niigata Institute of Technology as a JST STELLA program, it builds three abilities: science for coexistence with nature, AI/RRI skills and global reach. The Entry Course (up to 100) offers lectures such as AI basics, black hole imaging and topology; the Master Course (40) covers maths, physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, Sado studies and English presentation; the Doctor Course (15) does supervised research, conference presentations and a 6-day trip to the Indian Institute of Science.
