Fashion Koshien 2027 (26th National High School Fashion Design Championship)

A fashion design contest for high school students aimed at developing the next generation. From all drawings, up to 32 works are selected for the final; selected schools make the outfit (one team member models, and the team handles hair and make-up) and are judged in a fashion-show format. Judging criterion: 'fresh sensibility'. Generative AI is not allowed. In 2026 the winner received a trophy, an invitation to an overseas study trip (Paris) and a 100,000-yen scholarship; the runner-up a domestic study trip and 50,000 yen; third place 30,000 yen; plus special awards such as the ELLEgirl Award.
