Air League gliding scholarships include a two-week residential Gliding to Solo course and pilot development bursaries of £500 for young people aged 14 and over. Applications open on 1 December 2026 and close on 23 March 2027.
Gliding to Solo is a two-week residential course at London Gliding Club for people with little or no gliding experience; SLMG Conversion and Pilot Development scholarships (including a £500 bursary towards solo, aerobatic or cross-country training) are flown at the scholar's own pace at their club.
