A free half-day event at the University of Tokyo's Komaba campus (also online) where women who studied mathematics and UTokyo mathematicians talk about the appeal of mathematics and math-based careers, with a lunch meeting with math students and faculty.
The 13th edition of an annual event (since 2012) run by UTokyo's Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences to show girls the many sides of mathematics. The 2027 programme includes talks by a researcher at NTT Social Informatics Laboratories on learning and careers after studying mathematics, an editor at the University of Tokyo Press on sharing the fun of mathematics, and a UTokyo mathematician on how many equations it takes to determine a shape, followed by Q&A and an exchange session.
