Liderlik ve gönüllülük · Yüz yüze
A fully funded US study trip for high school and college-of-technology students from across Japan, focused on U.S.-Japan understanding and leadership, with homestays, school visits and site visits in Southern California. The 2027 call has not been announced yet.
Founded in 2022 with a donation from The Toshizo Watanabe Foundation, the program sends about 20 Japanese high school students (plus teachers) to the United States. Past trips centred on Los Angeles and Southern California, with visits to the Consulate General of Japan, Caltech, UCLA, Japan House, the Japanese American National Museum, local high schools and weekend homestays. Participants present what they learned at their own schools afterwards.
