First offered in spring 2020 by SPICE and the non-profit e-Entrepreneurship in Japan, the course fosters creative thinking and problem solving focused on innovation for social issues such as health, education and technology, and the environment. Students do readings and videos, join discussion boards, give small-group presentations, and finish with an individual research paper and a group project presented at the last class. Completers receive a Certificate of Completion from SPICE and NPO e-Entrepreneurship; top students are invited to present their papers.
