Smart Kangaroo is run in person at participating schools as a test where exactly one option is correct. In 2026 grades 3–10 had 20 problems in 50 minutes, in Kazakh or Russian. Every participant gets a certificate; the top three per grade in each school get diplomas, and city-level rankings are published.
