The Scheme of Post-Matric Scholarships for Scheduled Castes (revised March 2021, effective 2020-21) aims to raise the Gross Enrolment Ratio of SC students in higher education, focusing on the poorest households. It applies to fresh admissions and existing beneficiaries and covers studies in India only; awardees are selected by the State/UT of domicile.
