A Himachal Pradesh state merit scholarship of Rs 18,000 a year for the top 2,000 General-category students in the Class 10 (Matric) board result who go on to Classes 11 and 12.
A state-sponsored merit scheme of the Himachal Pradesh Education Department. The scholarship goes to the top 2,000 General-category students in the Matric examination of the H.P. Board of School Education, strictly on merit, for 10+1 and 10+2 in recognised institutions inside or outside the State. Renewal in 10+2 depends on satisfactory performance in the 10+1 internal examination. Notification No. EDN-B-(F)4-8/2012 dated 03.09.2012.
