A national poetry and fiction contest for Korean middle and high school students run by the Daesan Foundation; shortlisted writers attend a literary camp where final winners receive scholarship prizes and publication.
The Daesan Youth Literary Award discovers and nurtures young literary talent. Entries are screened anonymously, and about 70 shortlisted candidates take part in the Daesan Youth Literary Camp, which includes an on-site writing contest used to decide the final winners. Winning works are published in an anthology, and camp alumni can join the 'Jeoljeong' literary circle.
