An annual legal reasoning competition from Corpus Christi College for Year 12 and 13 students at UK schools, answering a problem in 1,500 words. The 2027 problem has not yet been published.

The prize was launched in 2017 and 2026 was the tenth annual edition (146 entries in the previous year). Entrants analyse a legal text and communicate their reasoning; generative AI is prohibited. Highly commended entrants and the winner are invited to a prize-giving day in Oxford.
