The Western India Science Fair route in Chhattisgarh: students of Classes 8-12 enter individual or group science, engineering and mathematics projects (and teachers enter teaching-aid models) in block, district, zone and state rounds run by SCERT Raipur with CCOST.
The fair encourages active participation in science, engineering and mathematics and gives students a platform to show their work to judges and the public, building confidence and public recognition. Project themes include physics, computer science, mathematics and engineering (civil, mechanical, aeronautical, chemical, electrical and more). Students can submit individual or group projects; teachers have a separate teaching-aid competition.
