"First Online Auction in Support of Young Talents" National Art Contest 2026

A national art contest by the Art Vernissage auction house and the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan whose 30 winners have their original works exhibited and offered at an international online auction. Grade 10-11 pupils of specialised art schools compete in their own category; applications are accepted 1-20 November 2026.

The contest is run by the Art Vernissage auction house together with the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the creative association "Amaliy sanʼat". It aims to find and support talented young artists and craftspeople and to give them a chance to sell their works officially, including to foreign buyers. Participants choose one theme: "Flavours of Uzbekistan", "Art and Time", "Between Colour and Light" or "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan". Ten winners are chosen in each of three categories (30 in total); their original works are shown in the Art Vernissage gallery and prepared for an international online auction.
