Trinity College Cambridge Robert Walker Prize for Essays in Law 2027

An essay prize in law for sixth formers, judged in a separate United Kingdom Division. Essays are up to 2,000 words on a legal topic of importance to modern society; the 2027 details are due in February 2027.

Launched in 2013 and named after Lord Walker of Gestingthorpe, the prize encourages students to explore a legal topic and consider studying law. Anticipated first prizes are £300 and second prizes £200 in each Division, and the authors of the top ten essays in each Division may be invited to a Prize Ceremony at Trinity to meet the Law Fellows.
