Projects must use biology to improve human, animal, agricultural or environmental outcomes. The competition has three categories (Lise; University Idea; University Project) and is evaluated through an eligibility/Preliminary Evaluation Report and a Project Detail Report. Teams that qualify after the detail report may receive financial support and go to the final.
