The Surrey Leadership Youth Council is a group of 20 Surrey youth who meet every other week at City Hall to give the City a youth voice and organize the Youth Speak Up Forum and the Surrey Leadership Action Conference.
SLYC consults with City departments as the youth voice on policy and planning, and plans the annual Youth Speak Up Forum and the Surrey Leadership Action Conference. Members build leadership, civic engagement and event-planning skills and earn volunteer hours.
