Mitou Junior 2027 – Creator Support Programme for Under-17s

A half-year programme that gives young creators aged 17 and under with original ideas and strong skills mentoring from Mitou alumni and up to ¥500,000 in development funding per project.

Mitou Junior supports primary, junior high and high school creators building software or hardware. Selected creators receive mentoring from Mitou alumni and experts, development funding of up to ¥500,000 per group, and help with workspace and equipment. Outstanding creators are certified as Super Creators, which can be used for recommended admission routes at Keio SFC, Tokyo Metropolitan University and Kindai University. In 2026, 231 applications led to 19 projects (21 people) being selected.
