Chhattisgarh's own pre-matric (Classes 9-10) and post-matric (Classes 11-12, OBC) scholarships for ST, SC and OBC students, applied for through the state School Scholarship Portal of the School Education Department.
The norms table lists yearly amounts (paid for a 10-month period) for state pre-matric scholarships of Classes 9-10: ST/SC girls Rs 1,000 and boys Rs 800; OBC girls Rs 600 and boys Rs 450. State post-matric scholarships for OBC students of Classes 11-12: hostellers Rs 1,000 (boys) and Rs 1,100 (girls), day scholars Rs 500-700 depending on class and gender. The page also lists centrally sponsored scholarships for SC/ST students of Classes 9-12 with a family income limit of Rs 2.5 lakh. Students of Classes 9-10 who fail for the first time still receive the state scholarship at the norm rate.
