Tottori Prefecture High School Study-Abroad Support Grant FY2027 (Reiwa 9)

Tottori Prefecture grants up to 400,000 yen to a small number of local high school and kosen students who will spend about a year at an overseas high school.

The grant supports about one year of study at a regular overseas upper-secondary school, through a study-abroad organisation's programme or an individual arrangement. Eligible costs include international and domestic travel, airport taxes, visa and passport fees, tuition, insurance, boarding or homestay fees, or a programme fee covering these. Recipients help with Board of Education events after returning. In FY2026 four students were funded.
