The Washington, DC route includes constituent calls/correspondence, guests, tours, hearings, research and memoranda. California offices focus on constituent casework, briefings, letters and staff projects. Interns agree schedules with their coordinators: DC is full time; California may offer full or part time. Participation is in person; an online application does not make it remote.
