İstanbul Jazz Festival's platform for amateur and semi-professional musicians under 28: selected groups play the festival's Jazz in the Parks concerts and record a track for the Genç Caz+ album.
Running since 2003, Genç Caz+ supports young musicians working in jazz and jazz-based genres such as funk, R&B, neo-soul, electronic music and hip-hop with improvisation. A jury of 8-10 music professionals gives feedback from demos to the evaluation concert; selected acts record in a professional studio and the album is released digitally.
