Presidential Olympiad in Mathematics and Natural Sciences 2027–28

A national olympiad in maths, physics, chemistry and biology for grade 11(12) students who have never competed at republican level; winners gain priority in the state university-grant competition.

Organised by the Ministry of Education and Daryn, the Presidential Olympiad is designed to find gifted students in the natural and mathematical sciences beyond the usual olympiad circuit, since only students who have never competed in republican or international olympiads may enter. In 2025–26 about 3,500 students took the regional stage and about 200 reached the republican final, judged by former international olympiad medallists and PhDs.
