UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge 2027

The UKMT first-round challenge for senior pupils: a 90-minute paper of 25 questions for students in Year 13 or below. High scorers are invited to the Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo and the British Mathematical Olympiad.

A 90-minute paper with 22 multiple-choice questions and three 000-999 digit questions (new in 2026), designed to make students think. It is the gateway to the senior olympiad pathway.
