A central scheme that pays tuition, living expenses, books and a laptop grant for OBC, EBC and DNT students who win admission to notified top institutions (IITs, NITs, IIMs, AIIMS, NLUs and others) after Class 12.
Run by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment (Backward Classes) under PM YASASVI. The scholarship covers OBC/EBC/DNT students in a full-time course at a notified institution, up to the number of slots allotted to that institution; 30% of slots are reserved for girls and no more than two siblings in a family can benefit. It continues until the course ends, subject to promotion.
