Bank Indonesia's Program Magang for school and university students lets SMK/SMA students from grade 11 do a 1-6 month work placement at the central bank, applying through a school letter and personal proposal emailed to magang@bi.go.id.
Bank Indonesia runs three internship tracks: partnership (via MoU), professional (graduates) and 'pelajar dan mahasiswa' (students), the last offered as a social-responsibility opportunity to practise working. Interns do main-task, project or clerical work in a work unit, work normal office days 07:10-16:15, keep a logbook, write a report and record a 3-minute testimonial video.
