Finning Canada STEM Award 2027

Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta partners with Finning Canada to remove gender and financial barriers to STEM careers. One scholarship goes to a young woman in a STEM program, preferably an Operation SMART alumna living in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo; the second is for an Indigenous young woman or a candidate deeply involved in Indigenous communities. Non-traditional STEM fields qualify if the applicant shows STEM principles that challenge gender stereotypes.
