Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation awards academic scholarships to children of multicultural families: 1.5 million won for middle school students and 2.5 million won for high school students.
The academic scholarship (학업장학) helps children of multicultural families pay for school costs, textbooks and self-development. Around 1,000 students a year are supported from primary school to university; in 2026 there were 350 places each for middle and high school students. Scholars submit interim and final reports on how they used the scholarship.
