A free one-day taster at Tokyo University of Science's Kagurazaka campus where high school students attend real first- and third-year mathematics classes, experience a research lab and the Mathematics Experience Plaza, and talk with current students.
Part of the Tokyo University of Science 'Science Program for High School Students - Be a University Student for a Day' series run by the Center for Science Education Collaboration. This second edition from the Department of Mathematics (Faculty of Science Division I) includes a class experience in multivariable calculus (a first-year required course) and mathematics education theory 2 (a third-year teacher-training course), lunch at the campus cafeteria, research experience in Professor Yokota's lab and the Mathematics Experience Plaza, and a discussion session with current students.
