The Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation selects about 4,600 low-income students from year 2 of middle school to year 3 of high school and pays their scholarship through a mentor teacher.
The Dream Scholarship (멘토와 함께하는 꿈장학) helps young people with potential find and pursue their dreams with the educational and emotional support of a mentor. The scholarship is paid into the mentor's account in three instalments so that it is used for the student's learning and growth, and the mentor meets the student regularly to support career exploration, school life and study plans.
