A one-year membership of the Innovation Hub at Regional Science Centre Bhopal gives school students hands-on access to robotics, microcontroller, physics, chemistry and biology labs, mentor sessions and design challenges.
The Hub is meant to supplement school and higher education with inquiry-based, hands-on learning: investigative projects with experts and mentors, design challenges such as 'Kabad se Jugad' and 'Tod Fod Jod', a LEGO Mindstorms robotics lab for students of Std 6-12, a microcontroller lab and science labs. Members also get free entry to the galleries and science park. Programmes through the year include a day with a mentor, LEGO robotics and hydroponics projects, Arduino and 3D designing workshops, an innovation festival and design contests on grassroots technologies.
