Open City Accelerate Birmingham 2027
Open City's free built-environment education programme for 16-18 year olds from underrepresented backgrounds, with Saturday skills workshops and professional mentoring. The Birmingham 2027 course starts in February.

Through skills development workshops (sketching and drawing, model making with a range of media, casting) and mentoring with a practice in architecture, landscape, planning or engineering, students build portfolios, networks and confidence for progression choices. The programme survives entirely on external funding.
