NUST offers need-based scholarships and interest-free loans to students admitted on merit through the NUST Entry Test who cannot afford the fees. Candidates apply for aid with the Need Based Financial Aid Application Form (NFAAF) at the time of admission application.
NUST's need-based programme is meant to make NUST accessible to financially challenged students who are admitted purely on merit. Aid comes as partial or full need-based scholarships for up to four years of undergraduate study, interest-free loans such as deferment of tuition fee and Ihsan Trust loans, and a facility to pay fees in instalments (not for admission or first-semester dues). Candidates must also apply for external scholarships (for example BEEF, CMEEF, SEEF, PEEF) and show proof.
