KID smART Bloomberg Arts Internship in New Orleans, summer 2027
Rising high-school seniors work with New Orleans arts and cultural employers for eight weeks, earning $21.61 USD per hour. The program combines supervised workplace projects with professional development and cultural visits.

The program runs Jun 7–Jul 31, 2027, with full attendance for all eight weeks and graduation required. Mondays cover writing, financial literacy and personal/professional development. Tuesday–Thursday are seven-to-eight-hour worksite days; Fridays feature cultural visits and program experiences. Interns meet prospective supervisors and rank three preferred organizations. Matching considers interests, skills and employer projects, so the preferred placement is not guaranteed. Orientation is Apr 24; matches are announced May 21. The graduation celebration date is not yet published.
