Kentucky's lottery-funded KEES awards college money to students who earn at least a 2.75 GPA each year at a certified Kentucky high school, plus bonuses for ACT/SAT scores.

For 2026–27 and 2027–28, yearly base awards range from $187 for a 2.75 GPA to $500 for a 4.0 GPA. An ACT/SAT bonus is added for an ACT composite of 15+ (SAT 830+), from $36 at 15 to $500 at 28 or higher.
