An annual inter-college visual arts exhibition in Quebec where cégep students show their work, meet professional artists and can earn five jury mentions.
The Intercollégial d'arts visuels brings together more than a hundred works by young artists from across Quebec, hosted by a different RIASQ member college each year. A jury of visual arts specialists selects five works for mentions based on originality, technical mastery and presentation, research, experimentation with materials and creativity; the five laureates get a subscription to Vie des arts magazine. The event also has workshops, conferences, performances and visits to museums or galleries.
