A youth council at the Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton for creative young people aged 13 to 17 who help shape youth programs and events.
Members work with AGA staff on programs, events and initiatives for young people, developing leadership, teamwork, communication and creative problem-solving skills. No previous arts experience is required, and the council welcomes youth from all backgrounds. The council also invites artists aged 13-18 to submit work to a youth education exhibition.
