The Zulfiya State Prize recognises girls and young women who set an example for their peers through their talent, social activity and success in study and work. Candidates compete in eight areas: science, education, literature, culture, the arts, sport, information technology and public activity. Commissions assess achievements of the last three years at district, regional and national level. Winners receive a diploma, a badge and a cash award of 50 times the base calculation amount.
