Each year Tashkent International School offers up to two full-tuition scholarships (one boy, one girl) for Uzbek nationals from public schools with high financial need to join Grade 10 and study for the IB Diploma. The next call has not been announced.
The Host Country National (HCN) Scholarship Program was set up in 1999 to support exceptional Uzbek students. Recipients study at TIS until graduation and can earn an accredited U.S. high school diploma and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, with university counselling support. Selection is holistic: academic achievement, financial need, English proficiency, personal qualities, extracurricular involvement and leadership potential. Applicants who are not selected are not considered for regular fee-paying admission, and earlier TIS applicants are not eligible. The scholarship is reviewed every semester.
