Primarily a drawing and painting course: students move from observational and idea-based drawing to painting through critiques, workshops and mentorship (maximum 13 students per instructor), take a weekly poetry workshop from the Writing Institute or MFA Writing program, produce portfolio-ready work and finish with a gallery-style showcase.
