Students follow RISD's college-level curriculum — about 40 hours of work per week with multiple weekly deadlines and extensive critique — in a chosen major plus two additional studio classes, working alongside students from around the world. Some majors (animation, architecture, fashion, interior design) carry a heavier workload.
