A free national program of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions that selects up to 1,500 ninth-grade graduates a year by exam and prepares them in grades 10-11 for admission to leading universities abroad.
The national program supports the "Prezident iqtidorli farzandlari" initiative. Each year up to 1,500 current 9th-grade graduates of general secondary schools with the potential to study at foreign universities are selected by exam. Selected pupils are attached to advisers from the Agency's schools and receive extra classes in grades 10-11 to prepare for top international universities. The one-stage exam has 40 English and 40 mathematics questions (A, B and C difficulty levels), 130 minutes in total, scored on an 80-point scale.
