One-year scholarships of 100%, 70% or 50% of tuition for local students with top entrance-exam or SAT/IB/A Level results who pass the interview.
NewUU's Merit-Based Scholarship is awarded competitively to local students on the basis of top entrance-exam or international exam scores (SAT, IB, AS & A Levels) and the interview. The top 10% of the announced quota receive 100% of the tuition fee, the next 10% receive 70%, and the next 15% receive 50%. It covers one academic year. Applicants with SAT Math 780-800, IB Math 5-7 or AS & A Level Math B-A* who meet the IELTS minimum can be exempted from the entrance exam and receive a 100% merit-based scholarship after a 10-15 minute interview in English on campus. Interview slots are limited; later applicants take the entrance exam instead.
