Regional Talent Scholarship 2027 (non-capital-region freshmen)

Tuition scholarship for graduates of high schools outside the Seoul capital area who enter a university outside the capital area; selected by the university from national scholarship applicants.

The Regional Talent Scholarship helps non-capital universities attract strong local students. For 2026 entrants at general universities the merit track required high-school (내신) or CSAT grade 3 or better; junior colleges grade 4 or better. KOSAF has announced that for 2027 the scholarship is being expanded at private universities outside Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon, paying up to 4 million won per semester.
